Leaking Fluids In Wheel Well
Since there are some people out there who are extremely rough on their trucks, some fluid lines could end up leaking and you may be able to notice leaking brake fluid in the inner wheel well. Yes, this will require you to kneel on the ground and look back to the inner side of the tire, but knowing what you are getting yourself into is important. Also, this might be something that you will want to do after you have performed the test drive. After all, if the truck was recently washed by the car lot and has not had a test drive since there, there might not be much fluid to notice. Raise Sections Of Paint
Some trucks are more prone to rusting out than others. Therefore, carefully examine the paint of the truck. If some of it looks as though it is a little raised, there is most likely rust forming under that layer of paint.
